Unemployed Again

Today, I got the official letter from my employer, from something I already knew, I have no work since July 1. It is all because of the simple fact that the local government decided to build one big building for all the departments of the school I worked for. I was send on secondment at the school. And now I was superfluous. My employer (which is actually the local government) must help me the comming three months to find some other work but happily I am almost graduated for my training for guard. And that is the reason I am not so worried about the future. I got three letters from my employer, one with the contens that I mentioned above, and the second letter is  that nobody will be at the office due to vacation of four weeks in August  and a recovery of an operation from other personell and... that will already be next month.  And a letter with what I have to do in case I will be really without work an income, I happily will still my income for the comming half a year,and I really will be without work from January 1 2008. But I decided to go to school again to study for guard (for objects and properties)  in October last year.
I am almost finished. I passed for the theoretical exam, and I hope I can pass for the practical exam before the end of August.

The farewell party that I was offered by the school, was very cozy, I invited 10 people for a Chinese wok dinner, that was at June 14th. I was surprised because all of them brought some gift with them, and I didn't expect that at all. I invited them at 18:00 and everybody was present. But there was still an outing for all  personal that was two days later, we had golf and a barbeque.At that day, I got a standing ovation,  gift vouchers and flowers.
I spent the gift vouchers to my new bike, that you can see at the picture left above.
It is a wonderful and heavy, strong bike. For the most part it is made of alluminium, but it is still as heavy as a my old bike ( 21 kgs) an perhaps a little bit more heavy. Because I have bought this bike including a  luggage carrier at the back, which is optional.

For the comming time, I am going to enjoy my freetime, it is Summer the season for vacation, so it is not as awful as in Autumn or in Winter.
