Waiting for the new things to come...

Posted on Nov 14th, 2007 by Erick : Contemplative Dao Follower Erick
Last Monday I got a phone-call from my employer, he told me that he got an application from the library, they need someone. My contract will end at the beginning of January, so it is time now to do something new. I am at home now for 5 months and I still got paid.
The work that I can do is lending out books and repairing books, and bringing the books back to their place in the library. I like books, so it is a great opportunity to learn something new, and to have new experiences, meet new people.
And besides that, repairing books is a very useful job, because in this way I can offer other people to continue reading those books.

Laozi my favorite philosopher, also used to work in a library or archive of the royal court of Zhou. Anyhow he was also working with documents that could be read.

I will have my second attempt for my practical exam (for guard) on November 26, when I pass, I surely will have more chances that I will not be without work for the years ahead.

So regarding work everything looks fine now. It seems everything is shaping up in a positive way and a lot will chance the coming three months.....

These are the rules of the game of tag:

1. Link to the person's blog who tagged you.

2. Post these rules on your blog.

3. List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself.

4. Tag seven random [?] people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.

5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting a comment on their blog.

7 Random Things About Myself:

1. i wish i had wings, flying to me is the ultimate freedom.

2. i'm guite affectionate, i spank all my family and friends bottoms (regardless of sex or age) with reckless abandon. they obviously disagree but i always explain its love ;)

3. ive been known to cry over anime films...

4. when i visited taipei, i met a nun who did not speak a word of english. she found my hair interesting. though i could not explain my locks to her, she ended up sitting with me in the midst of devotion, holding my hand. it was quite calming, a few moments we spent without words.

5. i was head cheerleader and home coming queen of my school, which is a shocker, considering i was an outcast to some degree and not your typical ideal of what these roles should be.

6. i have a stray cat who lives in my apartment complex. we feed her and make sure she has fresh water to drink. she lives in a tree.

7. i recently moved away from christmas. i don't buy gifts or hang up decorations. i refuse to be a part of the commercialized event that christmas has become. my family and daughter are very unhappy with me because of it. i care about their feelings but i know that i affect those who surround me so i offer my skills and talents to them instead of store bought products.
